Angie's Comments: Every so often, I pick up a crochet book, determined to learn how. Some books are clearly better than others at teaching the basics, and this book is one of the best. I am still working on my chain stitch, so I didn’t get far into the book. However, I learned a lot about hooks and yarn, and when my chain stitch gets better, I will check this book out again for the next steps. The author includes some information to help left-handers, which is great for me!

Recommended for anyone interested in learning crochet.
